Tennessee’s Statehood Day

As the United States honors its 250th anniversary, Tennessee will celebrate the 230th anniversary of becoming a state on June 1. To commemorate the occasion, the Museum’s two-day celebration on Saturday, May 30, and Monday, June 1 will include a variety of fun events for families, including a special short film and display of the original Tennessee state flag, a photography exhibit, live music, and children’s crafts and games.
