This tree planting is made possible by Root Nashville, which is a public-private campaign led by Metro Nashville and the Cumberland River Compact to plant 500,000 trees across Davidson County by 2050. The Compact is grateful for Metro Nashville’s commitment to restoring Nashville’s tree canopy and promoting improved stormwater absorption across the city.
