Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs), like bioretention areas and permeable pavement, are vital tools for preserving the health of waterways in the wake of new development. However, if not properly maintained, these SCMs are no longer effective. In this presentation, you will learn how to properly maintain bioretention areas and permeable pavement. We’ll cover techniques to ensure proper maintenance, maintenance requirements to ensure compliance, and proper schedules for maintenance.
