Town Creek Greenway Cleanup
Join the Compact as we celebrate the conclusion of Gallatin Water Week with a community cleanup along the idyllic Town Creek Greenway in Gallatin, TN! This is an on-foot stream cleanup and will involve both stream bank and in-stream pickup of litter to beautify this community asset and protect wildlife that call this creek home. Registration on VolunteerHub is required to participate. All cleanup supplies will be provided. This event is family-friendly and open to all ages, although young children should always be accompanied by an adult.
The Cumberland River Compact is proud to continue our work in collaboration with the City of Gallatin to address stormwater issues and maintain the community’s natural beauty. Town Creek runs through downtown Gallatin, TN and is a tributary of East Camp Creek, which flows into Old Hickory Lake.
