Shelby Recreation Open House
Are you a lover of the outdoors looking for more opportunities to go exploring this spring? Mark your calendars for the fourth annual Shelby Recreation Open House, a celebration of all things that get us active. Tour the Shelby Park Community Center, play games, watch demonstrations, and connect with local organizations including the Cumberland River Compact and Root Nashville!
With support from the Compact, the Vanderbilt Senior Design Project will also be at the Open House accepting community feedback on a proposed boardwalk project on the Cumberland River near the Shelby Bottoms Nature Center! Offer your ideas and opinions to help keep the momentum going on this exciting project.
The first 400 people to arrive at the Open House will be treated to free hot dogs, chips, and drinks courtesy of our hosts, Friends of Shelby Park & Bottoms. Need we say more? See you there!
