Rain Barrel Sale – Purchase in Advance, Pick Up September 5th!
The Cumberland River Compact is selling rain barrels! These 55-gallon barrels can be used to collect rainwater from your roof that would otherwise be lost to runoff. Store rainwater during dry spells and use it year-round to care for your plants, complete household projects, and more! By using a rain barrel, you can reduce pollutants carried into our waterways by stormwater runoff, reduce city water consumption, and save money on your water bill.
Our rain barrels are available at a low cost of $70 per barrel and can be purchased by filling out this form. All proceeds of the sales benefit the Compact’s water conservation initiatives. Orders are open until Wednesday, August, 27th or when all available rain barrels have been sold. You must pay for your rain barrel ahead of time to ensure we will hold one for you to pick up on the 5th.
When you pick up your new rain barrel, trained Compact staff will walk you through proper installation and maintenance techniques.
