Gallatin Water Week 2026

June 21 - June 27

Join the Cumberland River Compact and the City of Gallatin to celebrate Water Week! Gallatin is one of the fastest-growing communities in Middle Tennessee, and access to clean and abundant water is vital to the community’s health. You can get involved in Gallatin Water Week by picking up litter at a stream cleanup, learning about creek critters in Bledsoe Creek State Park, or partying at Waterfest with the Cumberland River Compact.

Can’t make any of the events listed below? Reach out to get tips to organize your own event, help spread the word about water quality, or take action in your own backyard.

Ways to Celebrate:

Volunteer Cleanup along a tributary of Town Creek

Gallatin Civic Center
June 27th, 10am – 12pm
Registration Opens Soon

Join the Compact as we celebrate the conclusion of Gallatin Water Week with a cleanup along a tributary of Town Creek! This is an on-foot stream cleanup, and you can expect to get your feet wet as you collect litter on the stream’s banks and in its waters. Your efforts will beautify this community asset and protect the wildlife that call the creek home.

Going Green for Good

If you can’t join us at any of the Gallatin Water Week events, you can still help make a difference. From big park projects to small home gardens, everyone can make an impact on water quality! Learn what you can do to protect clean water – starting at home!
