Ewing Creek Cleanup

Bikes, tires, trash – oh my! Join the Compact for a cleanup of Ewing Creek, home to our newest litter trap.
At this on-foot cleanup, volunteers will be removing litter and debris from Ewing Creek at a Metro Flood Buyout Site. The majority of trash will be in the creek so please wear clothing and shoes that you can get wet and dirty. Enjoy a wonderful morning of stewardship with your community!
Registration on VolunteerHub is required to participate. This is an on-foot cleanup in a local creek – you will get wet! Litter grabbers, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Please bring your own water, snacks and a friend! Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome, no orientation or training necessary. Volunteers under 18 must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian to participate.
This cleanup is made possible thanks to funding from Metro Water Services and Metro Nashville, and their dedication to ensuring the Cumberland River and its tributaries are clean. Don’t forget – that’s where 3 million people get their drinking water!
