Jess Awh is the Communications Coordinator at the Cumberland River Compact, where she creates multimedia content to tell the story of the organization’s diverse water-centric conservation initiatives. Her role sits at the intersection of creative writing, copy editing, design, photography, and social media management. Jess has a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a wealth of past experience creating textual and visual marketing materials for music venues, artists, radio stations, and publications. She was born and raised in Nashville and is deeply committed to spreading the word about conservation and smart growth development in the city she calls home. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar and hanging out with her cat, Birthday.
