Catherine Price

Senior Program Manager

Catherine Price is the Senior Program Manager for Education and Engagement at the Cumberland River Compact In her role, Catherine oversees Youth Education, Community Engagement, and Volunteer Programs.

Catherine has a Bachelor’s in Zoology from Miami University and a Master’s of Science in Zoology from the University of British Columbia. She also has a certificate in Community Impact from the Center for Nonprofit Management and is certified in environmental STEM education from Cornell University. Prior to joining the Compact, Catherine held roles that advanced national citizen science initiatives funded by the NSF and led public programming at a Los Angeles-based aquarium and nonprofit.

She has co-authored three peer-reviewed scientific papers on evolutionary ecology as well as the popular science book, The Field Guide to Citizen Science. Catherine enjoys exploring new places and new foods with her husband and young daughter.
