Wilson County Tennessee State Fair
The Sierra Club Tennessee Chapter will be hosting a booth at the Wilson County State Fair from August 14–23 and is inviting like-minded organizations to join them in celebrating and advocating for Tennessee’s natural treasures. Each day will spotlight a different environmental theme, and Friday, August 22nd is Rivers and Streams Day!
Come visit the Sierra Club’s booth on August 22nd to connect with the Cumberland River Compact and learn more about our local waterways. Compact staff will be on hand to share how our rivers and streams support wildlife, provide clean drinking water, and enrich our communities. Discover how you can get involved in protecting and restoring water quality in the Cumberland River Basin through hands-on programs, volunteer opportunities, and community science initiatives.
