What Makes a Good Planting Site? (Canopy Conversations, 3)

August 12, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Plantings can take place on different types of property, and we’ll discuss the differences. Then, share your ideas for planting sites!

About this event:

Trees can be planted in front and backyards, in the right-of-way, on public property, and with businesses or churches. Participants will learn the differences between these property types and what opportunities are available. Then the group will discuss: what ideas for planting sites exist in your area?

About the Canopy Conversations series:

Learn about ways to increase canopy in your neighborhood, and share your ideas. This series is open to all, but especially created for: community leaders, HOA board members, neighborhood association members, and tree advocates who want to get more involved.

Each session will include a short informational presentation, followed by a group discussion. Attend one, a few, or all events. Each will be recorded and made available for anyone who might be interested but not able to join live. We hope you join us — we want to hear from you!
