Talking to Your Neighbors About Trees (Canopy Conversations, 2)

July 8, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Hear our favorite “benefits of trees” talking points, and discuss what motivations or barriers for planting exist in your neighborhood.

About this event:

There are so many diverse and important benefits of trees — which might be the most influential in your neighborhood when talking to your neighbors about trees? After a short presentation, we will discuss what motivations or barriers might exist in your neighborhood — why do people love trees, and why might they hesitate to plant?

About the Canopy Conversations series:

This series is open to all, but especially created for: community leaders, HOA board members, neighborhood association members, and tree advocates who want to get more involved.

Each session will include a short informational presentation, followed by a group discussion. Attend one, a few, or all events. Each will be recorded and made available for anyone who might be interested but not able to join live. We hope you join us — we want to hear from you!
