Mansker Creek Cleanup

Join the Cumberland River Compact in Goodlettsville for a cleanup of Mansker Creek at North Creek Park! Mansker Creek is a haven for fish, salamanders, birds, and other wildlife, and is a direct tributary of the Cumberland River. It flows alongside many neighborhoods and shopping centers before reaching North Creek Park, collecting litter along the way. At this cleanup, you’ll team up with other volunteers to care for this important waterway.
Your impact compounds! Since 2019, the Compact has removed over 8,900 pounds of trash from Mansker Creek with the help of incredible volunteers. Our stream restoration team has also led a multi-year restoration of a badly eroded segment of Mansker Creek near Moss-Wright Park. Your participation in this cleanup is part of a larger effort to preserve the health of the creek for future generations.

This cleanup is made possible thanks to funding and support from the City of Goodlettsville Stormwater Department. The Compact is grateful for the city’s dedication to ensuring our waters are clean for recreation, wildlife, and drinking. *Please note that North Creek Park is being used as a brush drop-off location in Goodlettsville, which may still be happening on the day of the cleanup.
