Living with Trees (Canopy Conversations, 4)

September 9 @ 11:00 am

In this final session, learn what basic tree tips to share with neighbors, and discuss what next steps your neighborhood can take.

About this event:

Tree maintenance is often cited as a barrier to planting, so what basic tips and information can be shared in your neighborhood to ease any concerns? What should new tree owners, as well as those with mature trees on their property, keep in mind? We will also discuss ideas for next steps in your neighborhood, and the variety of ways you can act as a tree advocate.

About the Canopy Conversations series:

Learn about ways to increase canopy in your neighborhood, and share your ideas. This series is open to all, but especially created for: community leaders, HOA board members, neighborhood association members, and tree advocates who want to get more involved.

Each session will include a short informational presentation, followed by a group discussion. Attend one, a few, or all events. Each will be recorded and made available for anyone who might be interested but not able to join live. We hope you join us — we want to hear from you!
