Why should you attend?

Are you losing land to stream bank erosion? Without stabilization, stream banks will continue to erode, meaning…

  • You lose land as it washes away.
  • The banks become steeper, leading to serious safety issues.
  • An expensive restoration job is needed once the banks become too steep, requiring heavy equipment and an engineering plan.
  • Excess sediment washes into streams, choking out fish and beneficial insects and increasing water treatment costs.
