Halloween Costume Paddle Fundraiser
October 3 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm
We’re closing out paddle season with Cumberland Kayak on Saturday, October 3rd with a Halloween twist! Paddlers are encouraged to show off their costumes (and pet costumes!) on the water…and there will be prizes! Even better – proceeds from your rentals will support the Cumberland River Compact’s effort to raise money to support our Clean Streams Initiative!
Tickets are available for the following times: 10 am, 11 am, 12 pm, and 1 pm. For each shift, there are just 10 kayak rental spots available so that we adhere to social distancing guidelines. Have your own kayak/SUP? There are also a few bring-your-own-boat spots available. Grab your ticket before trips fill up!
For our Halloween paddle, we will be launching right out of Cumberland Park. We’ll paddle around under the bridges and downtown skyline while taking some great photos. Bring a Halloween costume! Dogs in costume with boat experience are welcome but must have a life jacket and be leashed while not kayaking. Prizes for best costume and pet costume will be announced after the event.
