Sevenmile Creek Cleanup

Close out your summer with a cleanup of Sevenmile Creek in South Nashville with the Cumberland River Compact and Responsible Stewardship! At February’s cleanup, we removed over 2,600 pounds of litter from the creek!
Registration on VolunteerHub is required to participate. This is an on-foot cleanup and a great way to complete impactful stewardship with your community before the start of a new school year. Litter grabbers, gloves and trash bags will be provided. Please bring your own water, snacks and a friend! Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome, no orientation or training necessary. Volunteers under 18 must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian to participate.
This cleanup is made possible thanks to funding from Metro Water Services and Metro Nashville, and their dedication to ensuring the Cumberland River and its tributaries are clean. Don’t forget – that’s where 3 million people get their drinking water!
