2025 Hummingbird Festival
Join the Cumberland River Compact at the annual Hummingbird Festival on Saturday, August 16th, at beautiful Rotary Park in Clarksville, Tennessee. This free, family-friendly event celebrates the magic of hummingbirds and the vital role native pollinators play in our ecosystems.
Hosted by Montgomery County Parks and Recreation, the Hummingbird Festival is a unique opportunity to witness live hummingbird banding, where trained experts capture, band, and release these remarkable birds for migration tracking and scientific research. You’ll learn about the biology, migration, and conservation of hummingbirds and how you can support their habitat at home.
The Cumberland River Compact will be there to talk about the connections between healthy habitats, clean water, and pollinators. Stop by our table to learn about native plantings, stream restoration, and our work reforesting former mine lands to benefit birds, pollinators, and people.
