Michael Miller is a full-time Field Team member at the Cumberland River Compact. In his role, Michael promotes environmental sustainability and conservation through restoration of native grasslands, planting and nurturing of native trees, and invasive plant removal. His work is essential to combating the urban heat island effect through the revitalization of Nashville’s tree canopy. Michael has a BS in agriculture with a focus in agribusiness from Austin Peay State University. In addition, Michael has past experience working in landscaping. Michael was born in Clarksville, TN, and still currently resides there – however, you can often spot him in Nashville wearing his signature international camo collection and searching for lucky clovers!
