Hunter Andrews

Crew Leader

Hunter Andrews is a Field Team Leader for the Cumberland River Compact. In his role, Hunter works closest with the Root Nashville campaign, which is a project focused on restoring the natural canopy in Davidson County.

After completing a degree in Social Sciences at Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic, he moved to Nashville to pursue his interest in small-scale agriculture, and after being acquainted with the work of the Compact and having a desire to learn about urban forestry, he joined the field team in 2022.

Hunter can often be found blasting music while watering, mulching, planting, and pruning trees at sites across the city.
