The Nashville Youth Climate Program supports young people in learning about climate change and taking action in the local community through the annual Summit, youth-led action projects, and leadership development.

Nashville Youth Climate Summit Details

The Nashville Youth Climate Summit is a chance for high school students from across Davidson County to learn, share, connect, and take action. The Nashville Youth Climate Summit is led and designed by the Environmental Justice Committee of the Mayor’s Youth Council and will include panels, discussions, workshops, and a catered lunch. 

Participants of the Nashville Youth Climate Summit will:

  • Learn about climate change in Nashville.
  • Participate in climate action workshops.
  • Connect with other passionate youth.

Participants can develop a Youth Climate Action Project, sponsored by Nashville SC. Youth can receive funding to implement the climate action project in their school or community. 

Who is the Youth Climate Summit for?

The Youth Climate Program is open to 9th to 12th graders in Nashville (Davidson County).
