Grade levels: 1st, 2nd

Topics: Watersheds and the Water Cycle

Languages: English

Interdisciplinary: No

Disciplinary Core Idea
ESS1: Earth's Place in the Universe, ESS2: Earth's Systems

Water is something we use on a daily basis for so many different things, but where does it come from? In this lesson, students will learn how the water cycle works and do a hands-on demonstration to model it. The teacher will walk students through the cycle step-by-step as they use a cup of water, cotton ball, and a construction paper sun for the demonstration.
