Tracking the Sun

Where we live, the time of day, the season of the year, and daily weather are just a few of the factors that determine how we perceive changes in sunrises and sunsets over extended periods of time. In this activity, we’ll explore how gathering information about sunrise and sunset times can reveal patterns that help us better understand the changing of seasons in relation to the sun.
