Agriculture and food production are essential to our society. Humans need food to survive, and farmers face increased pressure related to population increases, environmental concerns, and loss of farmers and farmland, all while making sure they can make ends meet. This Project Based Learning Unit is designed to introduce sustainable agriculture practices, their importance within our communities, and their role within a broader context of challenges that farmers face.
