Nature Explorations: Adaptations

Grade levels: 3rd

Topics: Ecosystems and Biodiversity

Languages: English, Spanish

Interdisciplinary: No

Disciplinary Core Idea
LS1:  From Molecules to Organisms: Structures and Processes , LS4:  Biological Change: Unity and Diversity

As learners, exploring nature provides an opportunity for students to be curious about organisms. Furthermore, students can observe, infer, and reflect on variations in plants and animals that help them survive in aquatic and land biomes. Nature exploration cultivates curiosity and critical thinking as students develop an understanding of how the world works.
