When rain falls on our land, it eventually flows downhill into a stream or river. Because the rainwater flows over and through this land, the way the land is being used in our watershed can impact the health of our water. In this lesson, students use online tools to gather data on local water quality and land use in three different locations across Tennessee, and make predictions about the impact of land use in those different areas.
