CUMBERLAND BASIN 101
The Cumberland River basin is a huge region, stretching nearly 18,000 square miles. It is home to nearly 2.5 million people and all or portions of over 70 Tennessee and Kentucky counties. It is also home to thousands of plant and animal species and over 22,000 miles of streams and rivers.
