Waterfest 2025
Waterfest is a free family festival all about celebrating our local streams and rivers! Hosted by the Cumberland River Compact with support from the City of Gallatin, the City of Goodlettsville, and the City of Hendersonville, this event combines education and water-based outdoor activities for those of all ages. No registration is required for individuals and families; day camps and large groups see below for registration info.
Attendees of all ages will learn about the importance of improving water quality in our watershed through interactive displays, activities, and conversations with environmental educators. Plus, there will be splashes of summer fun including two waterslides, a splash pad, prize giveaways, and a family-favorite dance party! The first 400 attendees will receive a free snow cone from a local vendor to help beat the heat.
Parking will be limited, but overflow parking will be available at Goodlettsville City Hall, Goodlettsville Church, and Goodlettsville Middle Prep.
A parent or legal guardian will need to sign a waiver before children can use the waterslides. If you plan to bring a day camp or group where students are chaperoned by someone other than their parent, you must contact the Compact in advance to obtain and complete the waivers.
