Fall Planting Party

Join the Cumberland River Compact as we connect our roots to rivers during our inaugural Fall Planting Party!
Our Root Nashville vision of planting 500,000 trees in Davidson County by 2050 is built upon grassroots support from the Nashville community. Show up and lend your support on November 19, 2022 to help us achieve this vision.
Volunteers will meet in small groups throughout the city and receive a lesson in tree planting before embarking on assigned neighborhood routes to help plant trees for public and private lands that have requested Root Nashville trees.
After the volunteer event, join us at Eastside Bowl for a family-friendly celebration from 5-7pm!
A healthy tree canopy leads to clean air and clean waters. Help support fellow Nashvillians’ well-being and local waterways by showing up and digging up. Registration is required and volunteers are encouraged to bring their own shovels. We hope to see you there!
